Coyote watch!

living in the rurals has many pluses.

it also has its downside.

i just happened to be home in the middle of the day today, enjoying lunch with mr. rocky - i'm usually at work during noontime.

Putting on the new personality

i remember sitting through countless meetings, convention, and assemblies and having the scripture about putting away the old personality and putting on the new personality hounded into us repeatedly.

in retrospect, it appears wt wanted us to give up any personality or individualism and conform to a new personality based on wt mandates and become a mindless drone.

i am so happy to be free to be me and no longer driven by guilt to conform to a mans interpretation of god.. when we lose the right to be different, we lose the privilege to be free.

the seattle-pi ran this story sunday, june 19. wouldn't you think that "god's visible organization on earth" would be on the cutting edge of "new light" to protect children?

but no, christendom is ahead of them taking the lead in protecting the young children of their flock.

makes you go "hmm...." .

wt taught us that people outside the borg were wicked, selfish, and no good.

my experience with non jws has been quite the opposite.

last night some friends (never been jw friends) took mr rocky to dinner for his birthday.

i found an awake!

magazine tucked in my door when i came home from work last night.

i guess weve been away from the kh long enough for only a handful of them to know where we live.

over the years i've kept my birthdate rather quiet.

this year the company newsletter has been posting employees' birthdays each month.

very soon the us supreme court justices will make their ruling known as to whether jws in stratton, oh will continue to register with the mayor's office or not.

on my lunch break today i stopped in at a new little shop in our little town.

was hoping to find some nifty little gift for my daughter who has a birthday coming up.

mind you, i'm a fade away.
